Purchase Garda Vetting

Garda vetting is a background check completed by the National Vetting Bureau. The Garda will check to see if the person applying has a criminal record.

The current processing time is 7-10 days after all documents have been received by the Garda National Vetting Bureau.

• Select and make your payment.

• Then email vetting@trustedcarers.ie and you will be sent a Vetting Invitation Form. You must complete the form and return it to Trusted Carers together with proof of your identity and proof of your address.

• Trusted Carers will validate your proof of identity and proof of address and will forward your information to the Garda National Vetting Bureau.

• You will then be sent a link to complete the Vetting Application Form online.

• The National Vetting Bureau processes the application and sends a vetting disclosure back to Trusted Carers.

• Trusted Carers reviews the disclosure and will send you a copy. Assuming you have been successful your Trusted Carers profile will now contain the Garda Vetting badge. You can track your e-Vetting application.
